You will collaborate closely with creative directors, content strategists, developers, and other stakeholders to produce digital designs that are both aesthetically compelling and functionally excellent. Key Responsibilities
Design & Visual Development
• Conceptualise, design, and deliver high-quality website layouts, landing pages, and digital interfaces that reflect the company’s brand and creative vision
• Develop original graphic elements including icons, illustrations, typography treatments, and imagery compositions for web use
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts to internal teams and clients
• Ensure visual consistency across all web-based touchpoints while adhering to established brand guidelines
• Design responsive web layouts that provide seamless user experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
Collaboration & Communication
• Partner with the Creative Director and senior designers to understand project briefs, creative direction, and client expectations
• Liaise with web developers to ensure accurate and faithful translation of design concepts into functional code
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, creative reviews, and design critiques to contribute fresh ideas and perspectives
• Present design concepts and iterations clearly to team members and stakeholders, incorporating feedback constructively
• Collaborate with content and marketing teams to ensure design solutions support broader campaign objectives
Quality Assurance & Optimisation
• Conduct thorough quality checks on all design outputs to ensure pixel-perfect accuracy and cross-browser compatibility
• Review and test web designs across multiple devices and screen sizes to validate responsiveness and usability
• Apply basic UX design principles to enhance user journeys and improve overall site engagement
• Stay current with emerging web design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously elevate the quality of design output
• Optimise images and design assets for web performance without compromising visual quality
Project & Asset Management
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines without compromising quality
• Maintain a well-organised library of design assets, source files, and project documentation
• Support the team in preparing design assets for digital campaigns, social media, and other media formats as required
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Web Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or a related creative discipline
• Relevant professional certifications in design tools or UX/UI disciplines are advantageous
Experience
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of professional web design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating innovative digital projects
• Previous experience working within a media, advertising, or creative agency environment is highly desirable
• Hands-on experience designing for CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, or similar systems
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and related tools
• Proficiency in Figma or equivalent collaborative UI/UX platforms
• Strong understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 principles with the ability to communicate design specifications effectively to developers
• Working knowledge of responsive design frameworks and grid systems
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability best practices
• Understanding of SEO principles as they relate to web design and site structure
• Experience with motion design or animation tools such as Adobe After Effects or Lottie is advantageous
